Same Day Teeth Treatment
Tooth loss, for whatever reason, is never pleasant and can lead to a whole host of dental problems including the development of gum disease and bad breath.
Receiving the conventional dental implants may not appeal to a number of patients due to the long healing times and number of consultations/procedures that have to take place. Unfortunately, another hindrance is that many patients find it difficult booking time off work or have children to take care of.

This means that you can have your implants placed, complete with a restoration, in just one sitting. Same day teeth ensure that you experience immediate results with minimal discomfort and fewer visits.
What is the procedure?
The placement of same day teeth is not dissimilar to that of the conventional dental implant placement. It is as follows:
- Following any extractions the titanium rods will be directly placed into the jawbone at specific angles, to achieve maximum anchorage and therefore quicker healing.
- A temporary restoration in the form of a crown, bridge or denture is then attached.
- The area is stitched and left to heal for a period of around 6 months.
- A follow-up appointment is then arranged in order for one of our dentists to check up on your progress.
- The permanent restorations are then fixed onto the restorations and can be used immediately.
What is unique about the treatment is that only 4 implants are required to replace a whole arch of teeth. Conventional implants require around 6 implants and involve a more invasive form of surgery and what’s more they are usually more costly than the same day teeth.
Who is suitable?
Candidates ideal for the same day teeth usually include those who don’t require any bone grafting surgery and are relatively healthy, for example don’t smoke heavily or consume large amounts of alcohol. Our dentists will carefully analyse every patient’s mouths to ensure they are suitable to receive the same day teeth.
Same day teeth are particularly appropriate for:

- The replacement of one or more missing teeth
- Those suffering from periodontal disease
- Those with limited jawbone
